Empirical studies, reporting their results and construing these around an argument has been an undeniable influence on my compositional background, in science courses as well as others.

 

The following examples illustrate both ends of that spectrum: an essay on centralized animal feeding operations that draws on empirical evidence, and a report on an experiment I designed and executed independently.
